Ugandan singer, Jackie Chandiru who was once a member of the all-girl music group Blu*3 , based in Kampala, is the latest celebrity to be affected by drugs.
According to Ugandan tabloids the ‘gold digger’ hit-maker has been admitted to Rehab after after she was found almost lifeless at her home.
Immediately she was found unconscious, Jackie was rushed to Mulago referral hospital in Kampala where she underwent extensive treatment for drug abuse related injuries, according to the reports.
Jackie Chandiru has since been admitted to a rehabilitation centre in Kawuku along Entebbe Road, Kampala, where she is expected to spend close to 6 months under close supervision.
The reports also claim, the singer’s drug overdose almost claimed her life.
